The SuProM consortium gathered in Palermo on September 14-15 for the final meeting of the project, hosted by the Università degli Studi di Palermo. The two days were a chance to look back on what the partnership has achieved and to plan how its results will continue beyond the project’s lifetime.

The meeting was especially important for the five partners from Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina, who presented to the rest of the consortium how they implemented their pilot courses. Each course followed the common SuProM methodology while being adapted to its local context. The courses combined theoretical foundations with practical workshops, project proposal development, and direct collaboration with industry and public sector experts.
Comparing experiences across institutions and countries let partners see how the shared approach worked in different settings, and what lessons can be carried forward.

Partners also devoted time to discussing the sustainability of SuProM. The aim was to ensure that the project’s objectives and results remain alive and useful after the funding period ends, through continued use of the methodology, the pilot courses and the cooperation networks built along the way.
A visit to Palermo’s history
At the end of the meeting, participants toured the Chiaramonte Steri Palace, one of Palermo’s landmark historic buildings. The visit was a fitting close to two days of intense work and a chance for partners to enjoy the city that hosted them.
